The Ozark School District Transportation Department includes more than 70 employees who all have a passion for students. On average, the department runs 60 buses and transports 3,100+ students daily, totaling about 780,000 annual miles.

Bus numbers, stop locations and times for students K-12 can be viewed in Parent Portal under the Transportation tab. Route times may fluctuate by five minutes before or after the designated time.
This information will remain updated in Parent Portal and any major changes will be communicated with parents.
We know that reliable transportation is an important part of a successful school day, and we appreciate your partnership as we work through these initial challenges. As we continue to fine-tune our transportation system, we ask families to please keep the following in mind:
- Bus stops and pick-up/drop-off times may continue to change during the first few weeks of school as we work to create the most efficient and reliable routes possible. We appreciate your patience as these adjustments are made.
- Students must be dropped off only at their designated bus stops. Bus drivers are not permitted to let a student off at an alternate or non-designated stop, even when a parent or guardian is present.
- A parent or guardian must be present at the afternoon bus stop for all kindergarten, Tiger Paw and special education students. If a parent or guardian is not present when the bus arrives, the driver will not release the student from the bus.
- Our bus drivers are committed to student safety. They are trained professionals who take seriously the responsibility of transporting our students safely to and from school each day. We appreciate their dedication, patience, and flexibility as they navigate the challenges of the beginning of the school year.
- We are actively monitoring routes and making adjustments. Our transportation team is reviewing the issues experienced during the first days of school and working to resolve them as quickly as possible.
- Reminder: Friday we release 1 hour early.
